Winesalot
So I have a major front bearing disaster on my daughter's 95 Legacy LS Sedan front right wheel bearing. I have a replacement hub assembly from the wrecking yard installed but I need to replace the caliper (the bearing was in such bad shape the rotor pushed up into the caliper and trashed it - yeah, I am wondering how she drove it that far too!!!) and I am confused on what to buy. My local parts stores cannot get one so I am shopping on Rock Auto right now. When I was visiting the local parts store they needed to know if I had 14" or 15" wheels to determine the correct caliper which they cannot get. On Rock Auto they are not asking that question so I am nervous about waiting for it to be shipped out only to find it's the wrong one. They are a single piston caliper if that helps. johnegg
i don't think there were any ''options'' for brakes in 95. and they all 14'' wheels except maybe the ''outback'' . but even then the brakes were the same. look up your part number here: http://opposedforces.com/parts and then plug it in a rock auto. there is a tab at the top of their page for part number search.
