SoSubiZ Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 my 1995 make a whining screeching sound only at wide open throttle in the correct gear for that speed. Its not the rpms. I can hold it at 5000. no whine, but if I punch the gas it whines. it doesn't seem to affect performance but is kind of annoying. any ideas? He was a mechanic for 30 years. Anyway, just thought I'd share what we experienced. Eventually rust killed the car. It never was anything but an annoyance.
