jknepp
Like the title says, I'm getting a pretty loud noise on startup when the temps are sub-35 it seems. It sounds to me a lot like a belt slipping before being caught. Here is a clip of the sound I recroded this frozen morning (18 degrees here in STL... brr) 2006 Legacy GT startup sound Sorry for the VVS (vertical video syndrome), I was in a rush hah. Any thoughts on what this sound could be, I would appreciate your thoughts! Thanks for your time.
Nightmaresmk
Options replace the belt or Run it slightly tighter which puts more strain on things when warm. We have a manual adjusters for our belts so when it's cold the belt will slip till warm. normal first 10 seconds when cold.
