ksuwildcat2010
I have a stock 2009 legacy 2.5i limited and looking at a set of 215/60r17's but not sure if they will fit? I've read where new outbacks and crosstrek's run this size but I don't know if they will fit a legacy. Any help would be appreciated.

ksuwildcat2010
Damn, doesn't seem like they will fit. Wanted to go a little more off road friendly with some Geolander A/T-S. I didn't figure there would be that much clearance difference between a Legacy and an Outback.
boxkita
your legacy: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/legacy/legacy2009.html#mechanical is 205/50/17 a comparitive outback (2.5i ltd): http://www.cars101.com/subaru/outback/outback2009.html#mechanicals is 225/55/17 When you got wider, you have to drop the aspect ratio to keep sidewall size relatively the same height. The outback has 1.5 inches more clearance than a legacy. If you really want a more rugged tire, look at fitting a 16inch wheel with a higher profile tire. In theory this will work, as the outback & legacy have same size brake discs. This being the internet, you should verify before spending money.
