Flurpster Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 My car has an EJ20H TT and I am looking for a timing belt for my car and I don't know what to do. I have found a few kits from the UK but they do not ship to canada. Can I get a kit for a standard EJ20 to fit? Or, do I have to work something out with the UK sellers? Thanks, Kyle T. twisty Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 the ej20 timing belt is the same as the ej25 timing belt. same tooth count and length. i noticed that when i was looking for one for my ej25, they all said they were compatible with the ej20, so idid a bit of reading on the tooth counts and such to make sure i was getting the right belt. i ended up buying a cool blue kevlar "racing" timing belt. the ej20 and ej25 both use the tb277 and the turbo models use the tb328 which have the same dimensions (30 mm x 2248 mm 281 Teeth). the ej20T lists the same tb328 part number heres a pic of the blue one. its gates kevlar belt http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/5NEAAOxyQfJTftPQ/$_57.JPG wow, that pic came out huge. twisty Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 if it is a ej20 then the 328 belts should work. the rest of the kit, i dont know. it is for a 2006 sti, so there could be differences in parts other than the belt. i would think it would work tho, if the pulleys change so will the belt.
