08obxt
I have been doing a ton of research and have decided to lower the outback with stock struts and lgt springs. Should I be buying oem springs or aftermarket lowering springs? Next is I would like to have yellow fogs, how do I accomplish this?
Rhitter
What made you decide on the stock struts? They aren't very good. Most will recommend a Koni insert or a Bilstein HD set-up. Lowering springs will just have you lower and should be paired with an aftermarket strut. They are not a very good match for the OEM struts. If you just want to go low cheaper - get oem legacy gt struts and springs (used). Because the Outback has bigger tires it will visually appear lower than a Legacy GT. Don't forget Legacy GT bumpstops Laminx Foglight covers or Yellow bulbs. My OBXT build
