fiber_tek Posted February 5, 2015 Share Posted February 5, 2015 1995 Legacy OBW, 2.2l, 5MT, 280K miles. We live in Montana at about 4100' and occasionally drive to Oregon to see family. When we get to a place in Oregon where we start dropping into the valley below 1000' we get a misfire. It is typically when we are traveling between 65-70 and have the cruise control on. It will do this a few times and quit. Then while still in Oregon and driving between the valley and teh coast we again have to change elevation and it will do it again a few times then quit. This has also happened here in Montana when the weather was very rainy or very humid. It will misfire a few times and then clear up. Any ideas?
