Gt_Legacy Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 ever since i have owned my legacy i thought i had around a 10 gallon tank because every time i would fill up from about a quarter tank it would be around 8 gallons, after bsing with my cousin some we found out that legacys have a 15 gallon tank. has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do to fix it. thanks for the input Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
johnegg Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 yes, crappy gauges. start resetting your trip mileage odometer with every fill up. figure your miles per gallon, (miles driven divided by gallons filled) then multiply that MPG number by 15. that is how far you can drive on a tank of gas. and you will have a .9 gallon of reserve. the tank holds 60 liters, or 15.9 gallons. this is a common issue, no easy, cheap, fix, do a search.
