scottie_dnt_knw Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 So ive had the idea runnin thru my head for a while of converting my 3rd gen front end into a custom 4th gen. id just like to hear some thoughts and if anyone has any knowledge related to this such as if it can be done and what would have to be done to make it possible. SBT Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Can't imagine anything about the 3rd gen would accommodate or line-up with the 4th gen bits Fenders, hood, grille, bumper are all wider and longer on the 4th gen and the 4th gen hood is aluminum, so there's also that to deal with. But hey, if you've got a mind to try it, and the spare parts to work with, have at it. Fact to the matter is, work hard, get you feel in a good financial position and your reward can be a 4th gen GT. Smooth, good looks, leather and power. It's a nice way to treat yourself.
