PsycoticClown Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some help diagnosing a problem with my 05 LGT 5EAT. Did a search and couldn't find anybody with the same problem. My LGT has been having a problem with the 5EAT, it won't shift into 5th. Gears 1-4 work perfectly, when it tries to shift into 5th, it doesn't engage the gear at all and stays in neutral and the engine just revs. The weird part was the car was working fine one day, parked it overnight in my garage and the next day it was broken. It was extremely cold (-20C) when I parked the car overnight so I'm not sure if the cold caused something to freeze then break. I do have the Hexmod F1 VB mod which was installed in April last year. I pulled the codes and I got 3 codes: P0700, P0735 and P0734. The mods currently on the car: VF52 Turbo Invidia Downpipe and Exhaust Hexmod VB Dyno Tune I didn't have any gear slipping before this problem so I'm not sure why it's doing this. Took it to the shop and they said the transmission needs to be completely replaced. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
