jschuk
Where is the puncture at and how big? I know most tire places only patch if it is in the center third of the tire and won't touch either of the outside thirds. The tire plug kits only cost like $5 -10. I have plugged 4 tires over the past 15 years and never had problems with them. Of course some holes could be too big for the plugs and you can't patch sidewalls. You have an Outback so you can also ask to borrow a 16" wheel too as those have the same rolling diameter.
