slushboxgt Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Hi, I have a bone stock '08 LGT 5EAT with 70k highway miles that I bought new, my wife now drives it locally, has for about the past year. I drove it today and noticed that when cruising at about 25MPH in 5th at about 1500 RPM it starts shuddering noticeably. Last time I drove it, about three months back, I was pulling a small UHaul trailer on a 400 mile highway trip, at one point near the end at 70MPH with the cruise on it started bucking in a similar but more aggressive manner, like a bad miss or the torque convertor locking and unlocking? I suppose if you either lift off the throttle, or bury it deeper so that it downshifts, it gets out of its "dead zone"? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
