Seriously like every one said forged is not the way to go for a daily driver because 95% of them go for 2618 which takes a lot of abuse but needs lots of clearance because of expansion. the Best JDM 2.0 v7 (imo) uses a forged 4032 piston. Cosworths are 4032 mahle and wossiner also make a 4032 piston. Under 350 is stock and a good tune, Over 350whp go for a 4032, over 500 go 2618 unless cosworth. Cosworth has some special recipe. also 550whp dd needs some type of block reinforcement either sleeves or outfronts closed deck as the stock sleeves have been known to crack at that level. A VF52 puts u in the Stock motor. Buy a new ej257 and break it in good with a good tune,TMIC, ELH and a better parallel fuel system (stock can hold the power way above what u want but we have issue with the fpr causing flutter) and put your money towards a 6spd upgrade and enjoy.
