Gt_Legacy
i am buying a 95 legacy that has no trany in it and im trying to figure out how to get it home. should i buy a car hauler or just try and pull it? the steering and breaks are hooked up but only one cv axle is removed, could i just zip tie the cv axle up and it could pull or would it still have problems? thanks
johnegg
i would use a car dolly and tow it with the front wheels / axles off the road. i would also completely remove the drive shaft to the rear. tip: the wheel bearings can be damaged if you ''drive '' the car with out the axle splined shaft correctly torqued in the hub assembly. it is possible the bearing could be damaged just dittin dtill with no axle in place.
