dwiniarz
I purchased this car at the begging of OCT and since purchase I can not fill the tank properly. I need to fill it extremely slow and I mean slow or else the pumps cuts off like its full. I noticed that the filler neck seems to be new. Could this been the issue? Has anyone else had this problem? taylormac1993
I had the same issue but all i did was keep trying to fill it like normal and it went away. Dont know what it could be as long as its an oem spec filler neck.
corlon
just happened to me as well. thought it was the pump. only put 6 gallons in. 5 days later tried to fill again at a different pump. same issue. I filled up the other day and had no issue. don't know whats-up. maybe charcoal canister issue? I thought I remembered reading about this issue some time ago. i'll have to do one of the search things.
johnegg
i think it is associated with the hoses going to the canister from the filler neck or something like that. the first time i read about this, many years ago, the poster said he found cobwebs or an insect cocoon in one of the hoses coming off the filler neck. but i doubt that is the issue here..... but if the filler neck was just replaced then insects could have nested in the smaller hoses while in the parts yard and now be causing problems. or the hoses could be connected wrong / backwards, assuming there is more than one.
