sturmgezhutz Posted September 28, 2014 Share Posted September 28, 2014 i have a JDM 2003 legacy GT wagon with mcintosh audio system JDM radio only give out to 90mhz as in Finland our radio freq starts at 88mhz to 108mhz so i bought a signal amplifier that boosts it up to 108mhz range. my issue is the antenna connector that subaru uses. the adapter uses the most common antenna connector, the one with singe pin sticking out at the end, dont remember the model name for those. the subaru antenna connector is a bulky tube with two pins coming out at the end.. where can i find a adapter for subaru antenna to regular antenna. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/electrical-electronics/23711d1337609858-poor-radio-reception-aftermarket-hu-2-pin-antenna-plug.jpg looks pretty much like that. and this connector is connected to another wire harness. the signal amplifier looks something like this http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_223986_4.jpg so if you get the point that im looking for, need to get these in the middle of headunit and the original antenna connector.
