WesleySands
I was driving home on the highway, and had pulled to the shoulder, to walk around a little, I was getting tired and stiff, pedal went right to the floor, no resistance at all. Put brake fluid in and saw it pouring out from right there. Is this the 'little rust box' people talk about whose only purpose it seems is to rust out and cause leaks? Should I just splice a new line or use existing lines?
WesleySands
I figured it out all by myself! The previous owner used a compression coupling on the driver side brake line. Its dry, its not leaking so I left it alone.
JJay03
That is one of the bad rust areas. When I was doing my 5-speed swap I pulled the rear subframe to paint and removed the tank just so I could paint all the lines with por15. I also removed that bracket and sand blasted it and painted it.
