What enables you to put an STi badge on your Legacy GT?

A STI badge on the back of that is a downgrade. S402 is probably the finest Subaru since the 22B.

The last performance-related car I had was a '97 (E36) BMW M3. A lot of 318 & 328 owners would slap on M3 bodykits and M3 emblems on their cars, and would often claim they owned a real M3. The owners of those re-badged cars never knew a damn thing about cars, or how to work on them, or how to drive them. Now that I think about it, most M3 drivers aren't enthusiasts either! Regardless, that experience soured me a bit on the subject.

I personally wouldn't put an STi badge on a non-STi car no matter how fast it was. Slippery slope to Pontiac Fiero's claiming to be Ferrari's with a bodykit. :-p
