mrejda
Ok, I need some advise. the stock NGK platinums are #FR5AP-11 and around $6 a piece on whatever random site I found them. However, they first came up as an application for the V8 in the Lincoln LS/New T-bird. There was also an irridium plug, NGK BKR5EIX-11, with the same specs (as far as I could tell) and gap, for about the same price. This was for the V8, but not for the subaru H4. What are your thoughts or experience with these. I'd love to not have to change these plugs again for 50k miles but I'm not forking over the cash for Denso irridiums. thanks. mrejda
No one has any opinions on this? That might be a first on a car forum. Botom line, do you think the NGK irridium plugs I mentioned will work for the 2.5i? Giggity, giggity!
BrownBoy
Never saw this thread till now..but..I honestly dont know. You could always try it and see...that's all I can say. You just might have to take the risk of them working, and if, hopefully, they do work, you just became a pioneer.

deuce
I installed the plugs yesterday and I can feel that my car runs smoother and alot quieter from the motor. the trotle feel a lilter softer, over all I like it but it was pain in the ass to have to remove battery and all that just to get to the plugs.
