Kodybarbera
so my car is still having this problem where it wants to stall out. it's a 5EAT. it seems to happen when the car is hot and when I'm turning. it bogs down really low to the point where it either stalls or comes very close when the car is in drive or reverse and usually when I'm turning and don't really have my foot on the gas. I just had my oil, transmission fluid, and diff oil changed. I was thinking maybe the fluid was old (car has 100k) but it wasn't that. I think it may be either a bad axle, or maybe the idler switch (dad's idea). anyone have any ideas? thanks guys
Kodybarbera
now after driving the car again, I realized it really only does it if I lightly hit the gas, let off, then hit it again
FknBoss
Lol definitely not an axle. Is there any mods to the car. A blow off valve? Possibly try cleaning the mass air flow if it's a stock car.
Kodybarbera
car is stock. I was thinking MAF or maybe a bad throttle position sensor because of how it only happens after hitting the gas real light then letting off then hitting the gas again
FknBoss
Any check engine lights? If not start with cleaning the maf. If that doesn't help you have a vacuum leak somewhere.
Kodybarbera
no check engine lights. only ever had one and that was from over boosting because a line had a hole in it.
