Dangerzone3
Hey guys, I'm looking to get rear hubs for my legacy to convert my brakes from drums to discs. I found an impreza gc8 parts car with reasonable condition parts. I was just wondering if the rear hubs from a gc8 impreza will fit on my 97 legacy? Thanks in advance. williamfinucane
http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/diy-rear-drum-disc-conversion-143569.html I think so. Dangerzone3
From the looks of the thread, one of the people used a 2000 RS. That would make the car a first gen. However, they said they were using 04 wrx hubs. Not too sure which one they used and if it will fit. I'm guessing that they should fit. If anybody could give a clear answer, that would be great. johnegg
I found an impreza gc8 parts this does not mena anythingf to me, what year and model?? in the 90s, all rear spindle / hub / knuckle assemblies for the legacy and the impreza are the same and will interchange, EXCEPT some have abs and some do not. just make sure you get the one you need. actually, if you get the ones WITH abs, it will fit both. so find a parts yard with suabrus and harvest the parts you need. Dangerzone3
The ad doesn't say a year or model. GC is referring to it being a first gen impreza. So the years can be worked out. Also, my car doesn't have abs, so that's good to hear that it will fit both.
