I had the timing belt replaced and immediately after it started making noise. they said it isn't a big deal so I've driven like that for about 15,000 miles. now I'm just curious to see what it is? FknBoss Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Have you pulled timing covers off and look around in there make sure nothing came loose? If it looks ok start it with the covers off and make sure the belts not slapping around. If it it sounds like the intake cam gear then replace it next time you do the belt.
