anchoricex
Was considering the SJR 4" Lift kit for my 1999 Legacy Outback and I was wondering if anyone who's used this kit has had to tinker with the camber. If so, did you guys use camber bolts or something else? Read someone used WRX control arms to help with camber but not sure about the rest of his lift and was wondering if this was a necessary expense. mailman
I read something about the Allied Armament 4" kit which I think is similar. The kit includes camber bolts and iirc you adjust them as far negative as possible. If you're going to the trouble of a 4" lift you might as well put everything together and swap control arms later if needed. You might be able to find something on here about the effect of control arms on camber too, I know there's at least one good lift thread here somewhere. anchoricex
Thanks for the info, I don't know that Allied Armament is still in business though. Searches seem to be yielding really old threads. I'll shoot SJR and email and ask what he recommends.
