Scottyd73
The wire cracked from the clip the goes to the crank position sensor. Found a new clip with pig tail and spliced them together. It still not starting all the time. Get same po335 code with new wire and sensor. Maybe the wire get to hot cause it was wrapped in foil and next to other insulated wiring. Dealer wants $360. For new engine harness. eBay has it for $125. For a 1996 mine is (97). Do I take the chance and get the eBay one ( maybe it will crack again mine didn't last as long and it's older) or do I get the dealer one. Plus will I have to remove the intake manifold ? If so I'd need to get new gaskets for that then to. What a headache this has all been
spooln30
I see you have another thread about this same issue. My question, did you solder the wires or use butt connectors? Also did you connect the right wires to each other? Did you test the CKS sensor?
