dashwort77 Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I installed the Cobb STS a couple of days ago, and I love the throw and height. Installation went smooth thanks to the numerous install instructions found here. However, I am getting is a clunking noise when I shift to 2nd and 4th, not 1st and 3rd, which is a common problem when hitting the the metal bracket. Has anyone had similar issues? If you take off the shift boot and drive without it you should be able to see where and what is touching. I had mine at the shortest possible adjustment and it was awkward to get into 2nd due to the boot, after I lengthened it, its fine.
