Riptide
Guys the plastic part of my trunk lid got nailed by hail. How does this come apart? Is it easy to pull off the lid? http://i.imgur.com/kI4k064.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatwat
nouse4aname
Yeah just held on with clips if I recall. Walkthrough on install backup cam has removal steps. Actually think the inner liner has to come off to get access to some bolts too.
Riptide
Darn. Having trouble finding the walkthrough. Tried the search engine. WTH
apexi
The FSM make it sound like you do everything from outside the car, but it might be easier to remove the liner to pinch the plastic pop-it's out. I've never removed this piece myself so I'm not sure. I do know that I prefer to push pop-it's out from the inside whenever possible. Riptide
That helps thanks. Looks like it should be fairly easy to get off there.
Nrw
Remove the plate, there should be a couple bolts visible remove those. Then it is just held in via clips. They will probably be stiff since these cars are old now.

fullmonte77
No adhesive. Just take the bolts off behind the plate and then just pull it off. Very easy to do.
