BMW makes me question a lot of things they do (every gran coupe, X6, and the M versions of the X series). Doesn't mean I wouldn't give them my money for the M235i... Penguin Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 Frankly I think the current 5 Series is not a proper 5 Series, but instead a bloated caricature of its former self. More of a slightly smaller 7 Series. It's the best Mercedes Benz E Class you can buy... The 6 Series Grand Coupe is what the 5 Series should have been. The 6 Series coupe (the actual 2 door) is too heavy, and too long. BMW should re do the next generation car to be about the same size as a Jaguar F Type or Mercedes Benz SLS. As much as I love my LGT, my dad has that same car. If I could afford it, I would. I'm hoping that within the next 5 years I'll be able to afford a 2 series.
