AZP Installs
Blue is banned due to the color, dumb federal regs. The Amber is the same fluid without the dye, but now you can't alternate to make sure you've flushed out all the old fluid. We've switched over to the ATE Type 200 or Motul RBF 600 or 660 depending on the application. -mike
mr.hicksta
That makes sense. I was so close to filling my radiator with my ATE the other day, since otherwise it's impossible to tell the difference between coolant and brake fluid. I'm sure glad I have the Man looking out for my well-being and safety. But now what if I mix up the gasoline and amber DOT4?!? I thought my DOT4 was cooking oil and poisoned myself. Can't tell the difference between the amber fluid and olive oil. I sure hope the FDA gets involved. Something needs to be done.:lol:
