Just got off the phone with a guy I used years ago with a subaru we owned and he was always a trustworthy guy. He has even done the 2.2 install into what was previously a 2.5. He said the three hole exhaust is an important thing to look for on the 2.2. Do you need to change ECU?Is the three hole exhaust the important partDo I need the flexplate off my 2.5? I can get a 2.2 for about $300. Loose those extra 35 horses but for a 2.2 non-interference engine I'll say bye bye horses. Anything else I should look for?
