lockmedic
Chill Beavis. Crossmember swappin' ain't something most people do for fun. I'm not "most people" and I can't definitively answer that question. . . but I can tell you when you get to 2nd gen chassis you can go all the way up to 2009. . . and you can use an Impreza crossmember but if it's from an STi or Saab 9-2x, the mounting points for the lower control arms are wider than the Legacy control arm bushings, so you'll need to either run STi control arms ($$$) or use washers as spacers (which is what I did). My info is relative to 2000+ but I'd be very surprised if it didn't hold true for 95-99 as well. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/study-turbo-crossmembers-and-steering-racks-221606.html?t=221606&highlight=crossmember
