bloodwingg2
Hi guys, I bought the hid kit from hidextra and got installed yesterday but at night I noticed that the hid bulb on driver's side going bad. The next day, when I want to drive, I noticed that the bulb on passenger's side also went off. Tried to change another bulbs and also turns off. Do I get the defective ballast ? One more thing, when i change the bulb, do I need to disconnect the battery ? Any suggestion would be appreciated

rice_rocket
Do a search about the drl and hid..they don't mix. I don't have a 2014 so I don't know how to disable them... but that's your problem most likely.
Claw
just leave your headlights on. reason being, the 05-09 uses the low beams as DRLs, so it supplies significantly less power that's required to fully ignite the low beams. Leaving the headlights on all the time will stop that from happening. not sure if that's applicable to the new model years, but check anyways. Or do the DRL disable mod. Search the forums for more info.
bloodwingg2
I realized that I did not using relay that included from the hid kit. Is it necessary to use the relay and connecting it to both ballasts ?
