AllBlackEverything
I live in CT, it was like 15 degrees this morning... I started my 06 LGT to let it warm up. I have an Optima red top in it & no aftermarket stereo. It took an extra second or so to crank over & towards the end of the cranking over, made this oddball ass noise, like you filled a balloon & let it go almost. Anyone got any ideas? AF_3C2
Sounds a lot like your starter shaft sticking- common issue in the cold. You can try greasing it up, but might be stuck with it. Mine does it, and sometimes it can be a sign that your starter is beginning to wear out, but no proof of this.
