rondefly
Has anyone had problems with the sealingtec gaskets? I saw them on Ebay and most all gaskets are much cheaper than Subaru OE gaskets. Just don't want to purchase some that someone had problems with. Thank you Ron Triano
Xplosivo1
Are you rebuilding the whole motor? I've never had experience with them, but if they are not of the same quality would you want to pull the motor all over again due to a leak?

Heuberger has the engine overhaul gasket set for $237.
rondefly
I did not say I was a cheapXXX I asked if anyone had any problems with the one I asked about. Thanks Ron
MrTris
No, you implied that you're a cheapass, same difference. There are many cases where you can use a less-than-OEM replacement gasket because it's not a critical item; engine gaskets, unless they're aftermarket performance pieces, should always be OEM quality. That said, eBay isn't the place one should be looking for parts for a vehicle they want/need to last.
