nutsman Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Have anyone hooked up aswc 1 directing to the steering wheel controls? I went on the aswc 1 website on installation of there product on a 08 legacy. On reading the instructions......it is supposed to be hooked up to a wire on a 8 pin harness going to the factory radio. But mine doesnt have this 8 pin harness(jdm). So i was wondering if anyone had hooked up there aswc 1 directly to the steering wheel audio controls or anyone who knows how to? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ghostride Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I did it, i remember it not being the wright plug and having to test wires. That being said the dumb thing only worked for about a month. I know it was in correctly too I was once a MECP certified installer and had my buddy with 10+ years installing experience help me with it.
