Corsaro Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 After months of intermittent problems with one bank of the TGV assembly giving an error code (1016) I am given up trying to fix it and now just going to disable the TGV and get the codes removed with a re-flash with tantrix. Since I am not sure if it is the TGV motor or sensor at fault, do you think it is safe just to pull off the motor connectors? I read that the valves are spring loaded and guessing they will default to open - can anyone confirm this? I am not sure whether to combine this with a stage 1 tune and get the cold enrichment sorted for rough idle without TGV. Car is a stock 06 OBXT 5MT.
