Mine has started to leak a bit and the fluid works its way behind the t belt cover and if your just looking at the bottom of the engine you would think its the front crank seal or oil pump o ring. Ivant Posted February 3, 2014 Share Posted February 3, 2014 If the leak is coming from the middle of the front covers under the main pulley then you can bet it will be leaking from the crank oil seal. A common problem for the 2.2L engine. If it's not pissing out then it can be left for a while, as the leaking oil doesn't touch the cam belt.
