robmat
I just took the subie in for an alignment and the tech told me he couldn't complete it because he could not break the bolts/nuts that adjust toe on the rear link. He explained that they often break and did not want to force it. We settled on applying PB blaster over the next few days and then giving it another. Any suggestions that would make this easier? Thanks so much- Robmat
ssbtech
A little heat on the nut should help. Perhaps order a new set of bolts in case you do ruin one.
robmat
Awesome. The tech mentioned heating, but was worried about ruining the bushing. Extra bolts ordered.....
scoobyscoodle
You should be able to heat just the nut with a torch without causing damage to anything else. That and a liberal application of PB blaster, with a breaker bar should do the job. If that doesn't work and the nut/bolt breaks, then it was pretty much going to break anyway.
