greyowl Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I have a 2.5 with CVT, need to confirm dealers diagnosis that I need a new CVT to the tune of 7727. Looking for a reliable shop and basically need to find out what they might charge, incase SOA is not going to help me out.
Sean Gage Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 $77** for a new cvt trans, that is crazy!!!!
jerseyglock Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 wow, for that amount you could go IPT and have your CVT build for track use.

Looking for a reliable shop and basically need to find out what they might charge, incase SOA is not going to help me out. Shoot us an e-mail and we will see what we can do in terms of diagnosis. I'm not sure we will be able to diagnose it any better than a dealer but one of our techs is trained in CVT work, so he *may* be able to help out. No promises but worth a free shot. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/153798190.jpg Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Enthusiasts since 2001.
