Hey, I was wondering if there was a general consensus on what the best spark plugs were for the 3.0R engine? Just go with NGK or is there a plug that other people prefer that runs better?

Also, how insanely hard is it to do a tune up on this car? I have a 2002 Outback.

From what I've read over at the outback forums (http://www.subaruoutback.org).. It's not much fun to change the plugs on your H6.

The general consensus over at the outback forums is ngk iridium plugs, which I would say sounds like the smart thing to do if they really are a pain to change.

Here's a how to link for changing the plugs, you have to register to see the images though.

Put in what came with the car - NGK (6481) ILFR6B

I second this. I put another set in right after I bought the car at 62K.
