Vagetarian
I just picked up a set of rally armor flaps for my obxt. Has anyone tried mounting these in front of the stock mud gaurds. I'd love to see a picture if you have. Any cons to doing this? Thanks
1Dollar93
I ditched my mud guards in favor of the RA flaps, interested to see if you can make both work.
13fido13
You should probably have similar mounting holes. I don't see why you couldn't do it. I never had OEM guards on my wagon, went for the RAs to protect the body. Much better now, keeps the sides much cleaner and keeps the back window from getting coated in crap. Only thing I would worry about with installing them on top of each other is how well they would sheet snow (if you deal with that), and how close they would be to the wheel with any snow build up. My flaps are nice due to the fact that it doesn't let the snow build up like it does on most OEM flaps that seem to be shovels instead of flaps. Scotty
You might have to if the stock mudguards wore through your paint. I thought about getting some rally armor until I removed mine and discovered the plastic wore through the paint.
Rester5350
That is how I have my RA's set up. My body was pretty ugly, so I left the stock guards mounted. I don't think it looks too bad.
Vagetarian
Hey Rester funny you commented. I actually found a big thread of yours last night while looking at obxt roof rack pictures. You had one pic on there that showed your flap set up perfectly. I'll submit a link to it when I get home from work.
