nick916
I hit a curb and most likely bent my front passenger strut. I am on swift springs and stock struts so I need to replace the struts anyways. I know Koni's are preferred, but I have been looking at KYBs as well and many sights seem to say that non-GT legacy struts by kyb won't fit on the LGT. Most of the kyb's I have been finding are for the legacy and not the GT. Any help is greatly appreciated.. -Nick

Bassman81
I had the exact same thing happen to me recently in 2.5GT and purchased a set of KYB GR-2's for $125. Look up just suspension on Amazon they have them with free shipping.
BX77
I had KYB's on my LGT. Vendors on this forum sell them

nick916
^thanks for all your info/help chris, i owe ya. I'm going to confirm with my mechanic tomorrow on what I bent when he puts it on the lift. If I bent both the strut housing and the shock then if I wanted Konis I would have Koni inserts and another stock strut housing....which may push me towards just getting the KYBs...I'm just hoping KYBs with Swift Springs 1) lasts over 30K and 2) isn't too harsh of a ride
iNVAR
My memory is that the drop on the Swift springs is mild enough to not need a substantially stiffer shock like Koni, so the stock-like KYB GR2 should be fine.
