hubmountain
My 2010Legacy with 80,000 miles on it stalls when stopping. Does not occur with trans in neutral. Any recalls on this? Is it a valve body or modulator problem? Has anyone seen this? Thanks!!

apexi
Hows your transmission fluid level? Has the fluid ever been changed? The picture below is from the 2009 factory service manual, but still might apply to this.

It seems to me that it would be the lock up solenoid valve, I've heard that the clutch material comes apart and clogs the valve when you come to a stop. With trans in neutral and you come to a stop it doesn't happen. Thanks for the response!
hubmountain
Brought car to dealer today. Result: You need a new transmission. Cost $11,000.
AZP Installs
Brought car to dealer today. Result: You need a new transmission. Cost $11,000. Where are you located? Seems a bit excessive to diagnose it that quickly that badly, but it's possible. I would get a second opinion. -mike
