robmat
I pulled the drivers side axle out and when I look into the hole where the axle installs into the transmission, I can see a small metal spring peaking out from behind the gasket. When I checked it, the spring popped out. It looks very much like a retaining spring. Is there an easy way or trick to reinstall it. Thanks Robmat
apexi
Since no one has replied yet, it sounds like you're referring to the axle seal spring. I don't know much about that part, but hopefully the links below might point you in the right direction. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/help-identify-part-119588.html http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/need-help-tranaxle-oil-seals-201537.html http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/circular-spring-axle-transmision-173287.html
CNY_Dave
Axle seal spring, or the stub axle retaining spring clip?
