gk1
I'm swapping brake pads on my 08 LGT, and ordered Hawk HPS pads for both front and rear. I got the fronts on with no problems, but the rears don't fit. The rear pads I have are supposedly HB434F.543 and everything I've seen says that is the correct p/n, but they're a different shape than OEM, and just don't fit in the caliper. Has anyone had this issue? Suggestions? Thanks, George
ras06LGT
The PN you list above matches what I ordered at the beginning of the summer, and I had no issues with pad installation. The shape matches OEM. It would appear you may have been shipped the wrong PN.
gk1
Thanks! I suspected that the pads in the box didn't match the label on the box, but since the numbers on the pads don't seem to be available for cross reference, I was just left with a mystery. I'll contact vendor and manufacturer for details.
KNS Brakes
Those are not the same pad. The Hawk's shown are HB557F.xxx (Outback and non-turbo Leg rear) - the LGT needs HB434F.xxx for the rear. What does the box say?
Claw
My newly installed rears HPS's didn't look anything like those. I bought and installed this part number: Rear HB434F.6543 Hawk Brake pad
gk1
The box had the correct HB434F.543 part number. Vendor resolution is underway. Thanks again for the confirmation!
