jjanczak
I have a 05 stage 2 lgt with a front mount intercooler. all of the connections in the front mount are tight and leak free but the coupling that goes from the last intercooler piping to the inlet on the manifold always seems to come off under higher boost. its the connection from that coupling to the manifold. im running 18psi. is there a heavier duty coupling I could buy? I have the hose clamp on really tight. any input I would appreciate. thanks.
idiot4hire
What kind of clamp are you using. Cheap Worm clamps can come loose sometimes.
jjanczak
that's the type of clamp I am using. I could try a more expensive clamp.
idiot4hire
It's an idea I've never had this problem but I have over tightened a worm clamp and ruined it pretty easy.
