Powmanian Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 My 2000 GT's front passenger seat has a bolt that is lose. It is unable to be removed or tightened. It just wobbles in the hole. Any ideas on why it does this or how to fix it. It almost seems like there is a nut on the other side that needs to be held to unscrew it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dbl_D718 Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Sounds like the threads are stripped, usually from being over tightened. Quite often you'll need to drill the bolt out, re-tap the threads in the hole, and use a new bolt.
