sturd Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Hello. Our 2006 Legacy driver side power seat no longer will go all the way forward. It still adjusts, it just doesn't go as far as it should. I took the seat out and found the part in the picture. Looks like one end of a rack for measuring position?? The other end is still in there, I can barely see it, but I don't see how to get it out yet. In any case, has anybody been able to fix one of these? It does not appear to be available except as part of a complete seat rail assembly. I'm thinking an aluminum backing plate or something but not obvious I can even get the other piece out.
