Cobb AP Version 3

Because they have a tendency to "lock up" and "brick" the ECM. Last time I had to divorce one (APV1) it locked up. Luckily I was able to use a APV2 to get out of the jam. I had to marry the APV2 to the car (overwriting the APV1), then divorce the APV2, then flash the car back to stock using opensource. Thank fully when teh APV1 locked up it did not "brick" the ECM at the same time. I had 2 APV1's brick ECM's last year. On both cars we had to buy new ECM's as no one was able to bench re-set them.

I have had too many fail and there is no support for them.

APV1 was the first hand held tuning device for Subarus. They were not great, they were just the first.
