'06 LGT 5EAT for my wife...mod time!

Recommended Posts

Nah, she won't see much auto-x time and I've never used the brace before. To me it's not really needed for a street car that you rarely beat on. My wrx did fine without.

I found it really improved the feel of the brakes.

I'm laughing of course because she NEEDS more power but better brake feel is optional. Just busting your chops of course

Ah...I guess I forgot to mention that my wife got the front brake setup off of my wrx. Lol, DBA 4000 series rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and StopTech S/S lines...as well as a fluid flush. It stops hard too. I didn't completely neglect the braking issue. The way I see it...300whp is not that fast. It's quick, but even at my 400+whp from the WRX...I still had the brake setup to back up whatever stupidity I got myself into.

I'll try to lay it out with prices I know. I traded for most of it when I sold my rotated setup and ppg 5 speed.

Invidia catted dp- $550 new (traded)

Invidia q300- $750

Vf48 - $600ish used (traded)

Intercooler setup -$240 (ebay)

Tomei header/up pipe -$710 new (traded for my agency header)

Grimmspeed 3-port $100ish (used from my wrx)

Walbro 255lph $80 new (used from wrx)

JECs 850cc injectors $400 used (new-ish)

Cobb accessport v3 -$650 (trading my old v2 for $325)

It could be done for cheaper, but this setup should yield a good 300whp reliably.
