sniderd Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 I have a weird knocking noise that only happens when I accelerate. I think it comes from the front of the car but I am not positive. pauli Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 from the description - probably a CV joint. my right front axle was apparently replaced with some not-100%-right reman by the previous owner, and it creaks like a wooden boat under hard acceleration and right turns. lots of knocking/flexing noises, but the mechanic assures me that it's not actually a problem yet.
